In honor of the Czechoslovak Legionnaires
The volunteer units of the Czechoslovak Legions, formed during World War I, took part in the battles first against the Austro-Hungarian and German armies and then together with the White Army and foreign interventions against the Bolshevik Red Army. Subsequently, the vast majority were forced to undergo the so-called Siberian Anabasis, i.e. the occupation of key sections of the Trans-Siberian Highway and the withdrawal to the meanwhile created Czechoslovakia through the port of Vladivostok and then by sea to Europe.
Czechoslovak legionnaires contributed significantly

The limited edition was created over a period of four years. It was expanded to include World War II fighters and the first Czechoslovak president, all of whom came through the Czechoslovak legions. Military documents filled out on a typewriter were the inspiration for the limited edition. Each of the twenty-three labels tells the story of a particular fighter's life and military accomplishments. The name Heffron is also the name of the last ship that transported the legionnaires back home.
